I am honored and excited that you've decided to work with me for your Boudoir Session!

We are a female run Boudoir Studio in Oxford, Michigan priding ourselves on bringing the best you to life! Self love, empowering women and lifting each other are all super important things to me.

This is more than just a photo session and I'm happy to share the experience with you.

Welcome!

←that's me, your photographer!

that's me, your photographer!

For me, Boudoir is all about celebrating you; your body, your journey and all of the things that make you unique.  It is embracing all of the negative things society tells us and changing our perspective.

This Prep Guide is full of tips and tricks to help prepare your for your session, but as always feel free to ask any questions that may not be answered here!

1. Stretch! Believe it or not we'll be getting into some sexy poses that may leave you out of breath, so doing a few stretches leading up to your session is always a good idea.

2. Rest + Hydrate! Going into your session well rested and hydrated will not only make you feel better, but look your best!

3. Tanning! If you want to tan I totally understand, but be sure to protect your skin. Try to avoid tan lines and sunburn as best as possible. If you decide to spray tan be sure to do it 3-5 days prior to your session.

4. Hair + Makeup! If you're getting your Hair and Makeup done on-site, please arrive with clean, dry hair and clean skin.

5. Grooming! If you plan to have any hair removal done, please be sure to do it a minimum of 3 days prior to your session. This will help ensure that redness and irritation is at a minimum.

6. Morning of Your Session! Be sure to wear loose fitting clothing to your session! I recommend a button up shirt that you don't have to wear anything under. There is nothing worse than harsh bra and panty lines when you get into your first outfit. ++The most important tip.

Wardrobe Tips

What to wear!

1. Bodysuits are a must! This is my go-to outfit option when someone doesn't know what to wear; they really are flattering on everyone.

2. Bra + Panties! I recommend at least one black, white, or neutral set.

3. Oversize Sweater or Flannel! These are a great way to ease into your session and give you some beautiful cozy, sexy images.

4. Fun Bra + Panties! Brining an out of the norm set is a great idea. Something high waisted, high neck, cheeky or fun is a great option.

5. Jeans, Short Shorts, + Tank Tops! Some of my favorite looks are everyday outfits. A bralette and unbuttoned jeans can go a long way. Or a tank top and cute underwear.

6. Don'ts! I don't recommend Baby-Dolls or Props. Of course there are exceptions to every rule, but in general Baby-Dolls make everyone look bigger than they are, and props take the focus off of you!

7. Colors! Black, neutrals, and jewel tones photograph beautifully. The only colors that don't do well are neon's that create color casting on your skin.
